Basic tax forms are now available at the library. Tax forms are located in the lobby on the 2nd floor. Forms may be picked at the drive-up window by calling before you come and requesting the forms you need. All blank tax forms are available free of charge

The Mount Gilead Public Library drive-up window (only) is now a distribution site for at-home COVID-19 test kits. “You drive up, ask for a kit and give some basic information and drive away,” said library director Melissa Kipp. "The process is easy and quick - and free.” No test kits will be handed out inside of the building.

The Mount Gilead Public Library reopened for in-person browsing March 1st, the first time the building has been fully accessible in months. Hours remain 10:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday; 10:30 am to 5:00 pm Friday and Saturday; and closed Sundays. The staff will continue to provide drive-up and curbside service.
From borrowing books and movies or picking up holds to even printing via the library’s Wi-Fi, the library’s new drive-up window looks to make utilizing library services even easier.
